A new hosting provider: a brand-new start.
About
two months ago – we had only just put our translation
agency’s website online – our hosting provider suddenly
“disappeared from the face of the earth”, leaving us empty-handed
with unusable hosting and e-mail servers and forcing us to make do with
alternative e-mail addresses to maintain contact with our customers. 
It
took us several weeks to find out that the technical problems were in
fact due to hackers whose only objective was to put our hosting provider
out of business – a feat that they sadly managed to complete. As
for us, the indirect victims of the hackers, we were absent from the Net
for several weeks, which was no picnic. And that is without mentioning
all the administrative procedures we had to wallow through in order to
get our domain names back before they lapsed into the public domain...
This entire ordeal nevertheless taught us a valuable lesson, namely that it isn’t interesting to save on small things if it is to depend on a vulnerable (and thus unreliable) hosting provider. So, now we entrusted the management of our website and e-mail to a hosting company that has been living up to its good reputation for years on end. This way, we will be able to deliver all our services without ever being confronted to nasty surprises again.
